Principal Updates

Dear Students and Parents,

We are excited to begin our 3rd week of school and want to thank you for your continued partnership and support. It has been wonderful to see the positive learning taking place across our campus. Classrooms are busy with students engaging in collaborative activities, building strong academic routines, participating in meaningful discussions, and working hard to meet high expectations. Our teachers are focused on creating engaging learning experiences that help every student grow and succeed.
Testing begins this week, and we encourage students to arrive at school on time each day, well-rested, and ready to do their best. These assessments provide valuable information that helps us monitor student progress and plan instruction to meet individual needs.
Due to our recent laptop distribution delay, we have made adjustments to our testing schedule. As a result, some grade levels and student groups may test on different days than originally planned. Our staff has worked carefully to minimize disruptions and ensure all students have the technology needed for a successful testing experience.
  • Monday 8/24- 6th Math Testing
  • Tuesday 8/25- 6th Reading Testing
  • Thursday 8/27- 7th Math Testing
  • Friday8/28- 7th Reading Testing
  • Monday 8/31- 8th Math Testing
  • Tuesday 9/1- 8th Reading Testing

The delay in laptop distribution was due to students not having working chargers. We placed an additional order for chargers and they should be delivered Monday or Tuesday. We anticipate continuing laptop distribution on Wednesday for students who do not yet have technology.

It is important that students take care of their devices and chargers. If they have a lost or broken charger, they MUST replace the charger through www.myschoolbucks.com.

As we continue building momentum this school year, please remind your child to come to school ready to learn, follow school expectations, and put forth their best effort each day. We are proud of the great start our Eagles have made and look forward to another successful week of learning!

Together, we soar!
