Principal’s Message
Horizon Middle School is a traditional public middle school, rich with culture and traditions that have been in place since the school opened in 1995. Horizon has been a model of excellence in the area of academics, sports, the arts, and parent & community involvement.
As we enter the fourth quarter, we are excited for all the growth and opportunities that lie ahead. Spring is a busy and important time of year, filled with upcoming state assessments, end-of-year activities, and many special events that our students look forward to.
With so much happening, it is more important than ever for students to remain focused, consistent, and prepared for learning each day. Your support at home makes a tremendous difference in helping students finish the year strong.
Please help us by encouraging your child to:
- Maintain strong attendance and arrive on time each day
- Get plenty of rest and follow a healthy school routine
- Stay organized with assignments, due dates, and school materials
- Continue giving their best effort during class and on upcoming assessments
- Limit distractions and stay committed to learning as we move through the busy spring months
We are incredibly proud of the hard work our students have shown so far, and we know they can finish the year with great success. Together, we can ensure they stay focused, confident, and ready for a strong finish to the school year.
